KerchNET has topped ASUS Summer Cup 2012 with a 2-1 win over Danes Anexis in a close series (9-16, 16-2, 22-20) to win 20,000 RUB (~500€) and qualify for ASUS Final Battle of the Year along with Anexis.

Playoffs of ASUS Summer Cup took place over the course of the past three days with the top six teams qualifying for them through the third group stage. With the top teams qualifying for semi-finals, the second and third placers played each other in quarter-finals.

Opening round saw Swedes duttdutt and Russian USSR bail out early at 5-6th place with KerchNET advancing to face Virtus.pro and Place2play.ru moving on to the other semi-final against Anexis. KerchNET only surrendered a total of ten rounds in two maps, while the Russian battle saw two maps go into overtime and the first one end 14-16.
